Job Description

Job Overview Join our team as a substitute aide and ignite the imaginations of children through engaging, educational, and fun-filled activities! In this role, you will assist classroom teachers in preparing activities, keeping children safe, following regulations, and cleaning the classroom. Perfect for a college student or someone looking for part-time options. Responsibilities Implement some teacher planned age-appropriate activities that promote creativity, teamwork, and personal growth Manage classroom behavior with positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by adhering to health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary Communicate regularly with lead staff regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns that arise Maintain organized records of attendance, activities, and incident reports to ensure smooth daily operations Comfortable around all aged children including holding and caring for infants and toddlers Skills Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones is helpful Experience working with children is helpful Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members. Flexbility and reliability are expected
Pay:
$15.00 - $16.00 per hour
