Job Description
Summary/Objective Responsible for supervision of children and direction of Assistant Teacher, Aides, Volunteers in classroom setting. Ensure compliance with all state rules and regulations as it relates to Maryland State Department of Licensing and Office of Childcare. Essential Functions Plan and implement full day, year round curricular activities including weekly themes and lesson plans. Inclusion of theme related materials, rotation of toys and equipment on a regular basis Provide safe, stimulating responsive environment by actively engaging oneself in daily activities and routines. Perform and maintain professional relationships with families and co-workers. Assess all areas of Development using Creative Curriculum components and resources. Assist with the development and maintaining of portfolios for each child in care. Assist with Parent/Teacher Conferences scheduled 3 times a year. Assist with Developmental Screening for new students coming into care
