Assistant Childcare Teacher

Job Description

Are you interested in a career where you can make a difference in the lives of young children? Creative Academics Learning Center is looking for patient and compassionate Assistant Childcare Teachers who have experience working with children ages 6 weeks to 4 years old. Assistant Teachers will help lead developmentally appropriate lesson plans that encourage healthy physical, social, and emotional development for students.

Responsibilities:

Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans with curriculum guidance Foster a classroom environment of safety and respect Perform daily cleaning routines to keep facilities sanitary and safe Monitor and assist with serving snacks and meals throughout the day Keep parents and families updated on their students' daily activities and progress Maintain and submit monthly and semesterly reports regarding students' developmental activities and progress

Requirements:
Assistant Teacher:

High school diploma or GED Desire to obtain a CDA within a year

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with creating and executing weekly lesson plans 2+ years of experience working in Child Care or a related field Ability to work creatively and flexibly Reliable transportation Experience working in an education-based environment 12 completed ECE units CPR and First Aid Certification
