Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support our educational team in fostering a positive learning environment for students. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, particularly in areas related to childhood development and classroom management. This role is crucial in assisting teachers with daily activities, providing individualized support to students, and promoting an inclusive atmosphere for all learners. Duties Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities tailored to the needs of students. Support classroom management by maintaining a positive and orderly environment conducive to learning. Work closely with children, including those with disabilities, to provide personalized educational support. Engage in behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions among students. Facilitate communication between students and educators to enhance understanding and participation. Assist with toddler care as needed, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. Collaborate with the teaching team to assess student progress and adapt instructional methods accordingly. Promote Montessori principles by encouraging independence and self-directed learning among students. Requirements Experience working with children in an educational setting is essential. Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff. Familiarity with classroom management techniques to maintain a productive learning space. Experience working with students who have disabilities is a plus. A passion for educating young minds and fostering their growth through engaging activities. Understanding of behavior management strategies that promote positive behavior in the classroom. Previous experience or training in Montessori education is desirable but not mandatory.
