Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Ready to make a lasting difference in the lives of students? Schools in the Grand Blanc, MI region are searching for compassionate, adaptable Paraprofessionals to provide essential support throughout the 2026-2027 academic year. Full-time contract assignments are available, starting as soon as possible and continuing through June 11th. In this vital role, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, either one-on-one or within self-contained and resource classrooms supporting students across all grade levels. Candidates should be prepared for assignments ranging from assisting learners with severe cognitive or emotional impairments (which may involve health aide duties such as toileting/diapering) to supporting students with mild to moderate needs in general education environments. The district values flexibility and will consider assignment preferences where possible. Your schedule will consist of 37.5 hours per week, with building-specific start and end times falling between 7:15am and 4:15pm. Qualifications:
At least 60 semester hours of college credit (verified by official transcripts), OR Associate degree or higher, OR Passing score of 460+ on
ETS Parapro Assessment, OR SAT:
480+ in evidence-based reading/writing and 530+ in math Experience working with students with cognitive or emotional impairments preferred Flexibility and willingness to adapt to different caseloads/classroom environments
