Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Experience as a paraprofessional, particularly in school settings Adept at working 1:1 with students, tailoring support to unique needs Familiarity with managing high medical needs in children, or willingness to learn Demonstrates patience, empathy, and effective communication skills Ability to collaborate with teachers, school nurses, and other staff Dependable, responsible, and committed to student well-being Willingness to undergo any required background checks or training
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct, individualized assistance to an early childhood student throughout the day Support the students academic engagement, social development, and daily routines Assist with medical protocols and monitoring, under the direction of school staff and health professionals Implement accommodations and modifications as needed for optimal learning and care Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment Maintain clear documentation and communication with educational and medical teams, as necessary
