Overview Join our dedicated early childhood education team as a GSRP (Great Start Readiness Program) Assistant Teacher, where your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. In this paid role, you will support lead teachers in implementing developmentally appropriate curricula, managing classroom activities, and promoting positive behavior. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in developing and executing lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, and social-emotional skills. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and implementing behavior management strategies. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration. Collaborate with teachers to assess children's progress and adapt instructional strategies accordingly. Support children with special needs or disabilities by providing tailored assistance and fostering inclusive classroom practices. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to ensure a supportive educational experience for all students. Experience Prior experience working with young children in educational or childcare settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools. Knowledge of childhood development principles, including early literacy, math skills, behavior management, and classroom management techniques. Experience working with children with autism or other disabilities is highly desirable. Familiarity with curriculum development and lesson planning tailored to preschool-aged children. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and team members. Technical proficiency in educational tools or software used in early childhood settings is a plus. Previous experience supporting teachers in classroom management assistance or educational support roles enhances your candidacy. Pay:
