Infant/Toddler Assistant Teachers

Job Description

Full Job Description Looking for motivated professionals to work with children under the age of 3 years. Must have patience and compassion for these little ones. At least one year of experience working in a center. This person will help lead developmentally appropriate activities that encourage healthy physical, social, and emotional development for students.
Responsibities:
  • Assist teachers in creating age-appropriate lessons
  • Foster a classroom environment of safety and respect
  • Perform daily cleaning routines to keep classroom sanitary and safe
  • Prepare and serve snacks and meals throughout the day
  • Keep parents and families updated on their child's daily activities and progress
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • 1+ years of experience working in Child Development or a related field
  • Ability to work creatively and flexibly
Preferred Qualifications:
12 quarter credits and 12080 hours of experience
  • CPR & First Aide Certification Summary As an Infant/Toddler Assistant Teacher, you will play a vital role in nurturing and educating young children in a daycare setting.
Reporting to the Lead Teacher, your responsibilities will include providing attentive care, facilitating engaging activities, and ensuring a safe learning environment. With core skills in early childhood education and toddler care, you will support the developmental needs of infants and toddlers. Your premium skills in first aid and special education will enhance your ability to cater to diverse needs, while relevant skills in classroom management and caregiving will contribute to a positive experience for both children and families.
Job Types:

$17.00 – $19.00 per hour
