Job Description

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a contract paraprofessional for the 2026 school year. This temporary assignment runs from now through December 10, 2026, offering you meaningful experience within an educational setting. Located near Norlina and serving both elementary and middle school levels, you'll work Monday through Friday—note that your daily hours may be partial, based on evolving student schedules. You'll be matched to a 1:1 caseload with students who benefit from focused behavioral and/or autism support. This is your chance to play an essential role in their educational journey, collaborating closely with dynamic teams of educators.

Desired Qualifications:

Possession of a high school diploma, plus at least 48 hours of college-level coursework (required) At least two years of hands-on, school-based experience as a paraprofessional Experience working with elementary or middle school students is a strong asset Familiarity supporting students with behavioral needs and/or autism
