Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Previous experience as a paraprofessional or educational aide preferred Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs, including exceptional children Reliable, communicative, and adaptable in a dynamic classroom environment High school diploma or equivalent required; further training or certification is a plus Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, students, and staff Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver dedicated 1:1 support for students under the guidance of classroom teachers Assist EC TA's in implementing instructional strategies and individualized education plans (IEPs) Support classroom management and help maintain a positive, supportive learning atmosphere Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff Help with classroom preparation, activities, and transitions throughout the school day Ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students
