KidLogic Child Care & Preschool is looking for a Support Care Teacher to join our team! This is a unique role that supports the entire center by ensuring classrooms are prepared for the day, assisting teachers, and helping maintain a positive, welcoming environment for children and families. Position Overview The Surround Care Teacher plays an essential role in the daily operations of our center. Each day begins by preparing classrooms and ensuring they are ready to welcome children. From there, you'll greet families during morning drop-off, assist classrooms as needed to maintain state ratios, provide teacher lunch breaks, and help with meal service throughout the day. If you enjoy staying busy, working with children of different ages, and supporting a team, this position may be the perfect fit! Primary Responsibilities Open the center and prepare classrooms for the day. Welcome and greet children and families each morning. Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff. Assist in classrooms as needed to maintain licensing ratios. Float between classrooms based on the daily needs of the center. Prepare & serve lunch and break coverage for teaching staff. Prepare, serve, and clean up children's lunches. Help maintain clean, organized, and inviting classroom environments. Support teachers with daily routines, transitions, and activities. Follow all licensing regulations and center policies. Qualifications Experience working with young children preferred. Must meet state licensing requirements for child care staff. Dependable, punctual, and organized. Able to adapt to changing classroom needs throughout the day. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
