Intensive ASD Program Paraprofessionals — Plaistow & Sandown, NH Paraprofessional or RBT with real autism and behavioral support experience? A Plaistow/Sandown, NH district is staffing across two buildings for the 2026-2027 school year. These aren't general classroom aide roles. They're small, highly structured programs for students with communication, behavioral, and regulation needs. The details $26

What you'd be doing 1:1 and small-group instruction under a special ed teacher and BCBA
discrete trial and natural environment teaching
implementing BIPs with fidelity
daily data collection
supporting AAC and communication systems
self-care and daily living routines (including toileting support)
regulation, sensory breaks, and transitions
de-escalation and safe physical intervention when trained
building independence and peer interaction.
This is an active, physical role — floor-level work, movement all day, and students who may elope or display physical behaviors. Worth knowing before you apply. Commitment and professionalism are non-negotiable Skill gets you considered. Reliability gets you hired. Students in an intensive ASD program depend on the same faces and the same routines every single day. An absence here isn't a minor inconvenience — it can undo weeks of progress and destabilize a classroom for students who can't easily tell you what's wrong. Consistency isn't a nice-to-have in this setting; it's part of the intervention.
That means:
attendance treated as a commitment, not a preference
proactive communication with your team and your recruiter
on time, prepared, present for the full day
professional conduct and strict confidentiality
the intention to finish the school year We've seen assignments end early over attendance and communication. If you can show up and follow through, this is a great role. If this year makes that uncertain, we'd rather help you find something that fits better. What they're looking for Experience as a Para, RBT, or ABA technician
background with autism or intensive behavioral needs strongly preferred
working knowledge of ABA, DTT, and data collection
CPI, Safety-Care, or PMT training a big plus
comfort with personal care
patience and consistency
a demonstrated record of reliable attendance and professional conduct
Why Sevn:

weekly pay and health benefits
a full-year contract with a defined start and end
three buildings and two grade levels so we can match you to the right fit

a dedicated recruiter start to finish The district is interviewing ahead of a September 21st start (Can push start date out further, if needed).
Email your resume to kevin@sevnws.com , let us know which building and grade level fit your background, and tell us a little about how you've shown up for students in past assignments. That part matters as much to us as the resume. #IND1
