Role Highlights:

Support a resource room teacher working with 4th and 5th-grade students, assisting with academic and behavioral needs. Provide in-class assistance for a 2nd-grade classroom, helping reinforce lessons and ensure all students remain engaged. Work closely with lead teachers to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and tailored instructional strategies. Assist students with assignments, classroom activities, and social integration. Contribute to a positive school culture by maintaining respectful and encouraging interactions with students. Collaborate with faculty and participate in ongoing professional development as required.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Experience as a paraprofessional or teaching assistant in a school environment. Familiarity with supporting elementary-aged children, particularly in Grades 2-5. Ability to work effectively both one-on-one and in small groups. Strong communication, patience, and adaptability to meet students varying needs. Team-oriented with a passion for student growth and wellbeing.

Schedule:

Contract position, working Monday through Friday. Daily hours are from 8:15 AM 2:50 PM, providing a consistent, structured schedule that aligns with school hours.
