Desired Skills and Experience:

Previous experience as a paraprofessional, or in a classroom support capacity, preferred Familiarity with elementary school curriculum and developmental stages Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers and assist students effectively Adaptability and patience to engage students with varying abilities and needs Ability to work independently and as part of an educational team

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the resource room teacher in delivering instructional activities for grade 4/5 students Support classroom management and help implement individualized learning strategies Provide one-on-one and small group support in a Grade 2 classroom Encourage student participation and engagement Foster a positive, respectful atmosphere for all learners Help monitor student progress and communicate observations to teaching staff This position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM to 2:50 PM, offering consistent hours and an engaging school community.
