We're looking for a warm, dependable Teacher Assistant to join our preschool and day care programs. Whether you're starting your career in early childhood education or looking to grow it, this role puts you at the center of meaningful, joyful, day-to-day learning. What you'll do: Lead enriching activities: Games, arts & crafts, story time, and outdoor play that spark curiosity and creativity.
Nurture whole-child growth:
Support social and emotional development through positive reinforcement and gentle guidance. Maintain a safe, clean environment: Hands-on childcare including diaper changes, feeding, and keeping the classroom welcoming.
Grow as an educator:
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, CDA certification program, and ongoing professional development and state-mandated trainings What we're looking for: 1-2+ years of experience in a daycare, preschool, or early childhood setting (preferred) High school diploma or equivalent; coursework or a degree in early childhood education is a plus Familiarity with Creative Curriculum, Tadpoles, or SmartTeach is a bonus — but not required Genuine enthusiasm for working with young children and a solid understanding of child development Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit — you'll work closely with staff and families A positive, patient attitude and a real love for what you do Ability to pass required background checks and provide professional references Ready to make a real difference in the lives of children? $16.05 - $17.05 per hour
