Join our tight-knit early childhood education school as an energetic, caring, and loving Assistant Teacher! Our youngest classrooms begin with infants and continue all the way through Pre-K. We are looking for someone who is motivated, reliable, patient, and passionate about working with children of all ages. We value teamwork and are looking for someone who works well with both children and staff of all ages. We believe in creating an environment where children can explore, ask questions, express themselves, and learn through hands-on experiences. We also follow a creative curriculum that incorporates learning through: Art and creative projects, sensory activities, hands-on exploration, thoughtful questions and conversations, and. child-led learning and discovery As an Assistant Teacher, you will work alongside our lead teachers to help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment where every child feels supported and encouraged to grow. If you are someone who is energetic, dependable, creative, and loves working with young children, we would love to hear from you! Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing curriculum activities that promote child development and learning. Support classroom management by supervising children during activities, free play, meals, and transitions. Provide attentive child supervision to ensure safety and well-being at all times. Help with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, nap time, and hygiene practices following health and safety guidelines. Engage children with age-appropriate educational activities that encourage exploration and socialization. Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and needs. Support classroom organization by preparing materials, tidying spaces, and assisting with lesson setup. Skills Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices. Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying or babysitting roles. Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies. Certification in first aid and CPR (including pediatric first aid) is highly preferred. Understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and protection. Ability to work effectively with children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education support. Strong communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in special education settings is a plus. Child supervision skills combined with patience, enthusiasm, and a nurturing attitude. Join us in shaping young minds!
