In this role, you will support lead teachers in implementing educational activities, managing classroom routines, and fostering a positive atmosphere that encourages curiosity and growth. Your hands-on involvement will be vital in shaping foundational skills in literacy, math, social-emotional development, and more, ensuring every child feels valued and inspired to explore their potential. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in planning and executing age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards such as Montessori or other early childhood frameworks Support classroom management by helping maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for children of various developmental stages Engage children in activities that promote literacy education, numeracy skills, and social-emotional learning Provide individualized attention to children with special needs or disabilities, including those with autism or behavioral challenges Supervise children during playtime, meals, nap times, and transitions to ensure safety and positive behavior management Collaborate with teachers to monitor each child's progress and communicate observations effectively to support their developmental milestones Assist with classroom setup, materials preparation, and maintaining cleanliness to ensure an optimal learning space Qualifications Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly preferred Knowledge of early childhood development principles and classroom management techniques Familiarity with special education strategies and working with individuals with disabilities or autism is a plus Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and children Ability to implement lesson plans focused on literacy education, math concepts, and behavior management strategies Experience with curriculum development or lesson planning is advantageous Certification in childcare or early childhood education (such as CPR/First Aid) is desirable but not mandatory Embark on a rewarding journey where your passion for teaching meets your desire to make a meaningful impact on young lives.
