Job Description
A Teacher's Aide supports teachers in delivering instruction by managing students, and maintaining a positive learning environment. They assist with academic, behavioral, and administrative tasks to help ensure students succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with physical care tasks and health related activities as appropriate;
Assist students with behavioral/management needs;
Assist with daily classroom setup/preparation as directed by the teacher;
Help students navigate the school environment;
Assist students in the use of assistive technology/instructional resources;
Provide student testing accommodations/modifications;
Review previous lessons and concepts previously taught by the teacher;
Collect various student data as directed by the teacher (e.g. behavior intervention plans, IEP goals, classroom management system, etc.); Become familiar with the student(s) IEP;
Communicate effectively with teacher and necessary staff members;
Foster student independence.

Job Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent Experience working with children or in an educational setting is a plus
