Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Teacher Assistant to join our educational team, supporting classroom instruction and student development. In this role, you will work closely with lead teachers and other professionals to create a nurturing learning environment that promotes growth, engagement, and success for all students. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster a positive classroom atmosphere where students with diverse needs can thrive. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy education, math, and early childhood development strategies. Support students with special education needs by offering physical assistance and behavioral support. Help manage classroom behavior by applying positive reinforcement strategies and maintaining a structured environment conducive to learning. Collaborate with other professionals—such as speech therapists, occupational therapists, and counselors—to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that address each student's unique needs. Handle confidential information responsibly while supporting students' social-emotional growth and academic progress. Assist in classroom organization, including preparing materials, managing supplies, and maintaining a safe learning space for children of various age groups including toddlers and early learners. Qualifications Prior experience working with children or in early childhood education settings is highly desirable. Proficiency in communication skills, including writing reports and collaborating effectively with team members. Basic math skills and understanding of literacy education methods are advantageous.
