Job Description

We are seeking a caring, dependable Assistant Teacher to support our classroom team in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children. The Assistant Teacher works closely with the Lead Teacher to help implement daily activities that support children's social, emotional, and developmental growth.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing daily classroom routines and activities Support children's social and emotional development through positive guidance and interaction Help prepare and facilitate hands-on learning experiences, including process-based art activities Supervise children during play, meals, rest time, and transitions Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment Help set up and clean up materials and learning centers Communicate respectfully with children, staff, and families Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations
Qualifications:
Experience working with young children in a daycare or early childhood setting preferred Warm, patient, and nurturing approach with children Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Strong communication and organizational skills CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) High school diploma required; coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred

Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
