Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role involves implementing developmentally-appropriate curricula, engaging with students, and collaborating with parents to support each child's growth. Duties Develop and implement lesson plans that promote early childhood education and align with developmental milestones. Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning atmosphere. Observe and assess children's progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and progress. Foster social skills through group activities and collaborative play. Support children with disabilities by adapting lessons and providing additional assistance as needed. Maintain a clean and organized classroom space conducive to learning. Qualifications Experience working with infants in an educational or caregiving setting is highly desirable. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage students effectively. Experience working with students with disabilities is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with children, parents, and staff. A genuine passion for educating young children and fostering their growth.
