Job Description

Duties:

A unique opportunity to work in a supportive environment and change the lives of students. This position is a full-time position working with 11th and 12th grade students with disabilities in a Vocational Technical Preparation program. The morning program prepares 12th grade students with workplace skills and provides support for community-based work sites. The second half of the day the successful candidate will provide a variety of support (ELA, Math, pre-employment skills) to 11th grade students enabling them to be successful in college or the workplace. Experience in a vocational education setting, working with special needs learners and reading certification is preferred. Bus driver's license is a plus.

Qualifications:

Certified Special Education or eligible to pursue certification.

Verona, NY Term of Employment:

Full-time, 10-month position

Salary:

$65,913 (Starting salary is based on the minimum step of the Madison-Oneida BOCES Teachers' Contract. Salary may increase based on verified education and prior experience in accordance with the contract.)
