Job Description

Jul 17 2026 The Athens-Meigs ESC is seeking two Paraprofessionals (Educational Aides) for the Tri-County Career Center located in Nelsonville, Ohio. These are full time positions (7.5 hours per day) with Board approved benefits.

Must pass

background checks Must meet the Parapro Assessment Requirement by having one of the following: An Associates Degree If no degree, then 48 semester hours (72 quarters) of college coursework Verification of passing the Parapro Assessment Test (offered through the AMESC) Have a valid Educational Aide Permit through the Ohio Dept. of Education & Workforce The Mission of the Athens-Meigs Educational Service Center is to work in partnership with the community to improve student achievement, build capacity, and raise expectations for all individuals in our service region.
