Key Qualifications:

Prior experience as a behavior technician, registered behavior technician (RBT), paraprofessional, or behavior specialist is preferred Familiarity with behavioral management strategies Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach when working with students Ability to collaborate with educators, support staff, and families Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or college coursework in education or behavioral health a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

Support students with behavioral or special needs, facilitating inclusion and engagement Implement individualized behavior intervention plans and document student progress Help create and maintain a positive, structured classroom atmosphere Provide assistance during instruction, transitions, and other daily activities Communicate effectively with the teaching team and contribute to collaborative problem-solving Foster a safe, respectful, and nurturing learning environment for all students
