Job Description

To assist the classroom teacher with the implementation of individual and group instruction, testing, and assessment procedures. Assist in providing IEP support and carrying out behavior management plans. Follow professional directives to support the child in the school environment when applicable. Ensure student safety across all environments. Assist in other areas as requested by the classroom teacher and/or Pupil Services in support of educational programming.

Qualifications:
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of college or 48 college credit hours.
  • Ability to implement specially designed instruction and behavior support plan within a child's IEP.
  • Ability to follow professional directives to support the child in the school environment.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and a desire to work with children.
  • Strong organizational skills.
    $24.96 per hour after a successful 90-day probation.
    Part-time 10-month position, (11:30 am to 3:30 pm)
  • As necessary, a separate email will be sent with a link and access code to comply with the Act 168 Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure release forms.
