Position Summary U.S. Medical Staffing is seeking compassionate and dependable Paraprofessionals to provide one-on-one and small group support to students with disabilities in school settings. As a Paraprofessional you will work closely with teachers and special education staff to help students achieve their academic, behavioral, social, and personal goals as outlined in their Individualized Education Program (IEP). Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students in the classroom and throughout the school day.
Assist students in accessing the educational environment while supporting academic, behavioral, social, emotional, and personal care needs.
Implement behavioral interventions and positive behavior support strategies identified in the student's IEP or Behavior Support Plan.
Support students with behavior management, conflict resolution, anger management, and positive peer interactions.
Collect daily data and complete accurate progress notes for each student session.
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, therapists, and administrators to support student success.
Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and positive relationships with students, families, and school personnel. Qualifications Required
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to work effectively with children in a school setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable, patient, and compassionate. Preferred
Previous experience working with school-aged children.
Experience supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or other developmental or behavioral disabilities.
Experience in special education, behavioral health, or human services.
Required Documentation Applicants must provide:
Current resume with employment dates.
High school diploma, GED, and/or college degree (if applicable).
Completed employment questionnaire.
Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance.
Pennsylvania Criminal History Clearance.
FBI Fingerprinting (PDE).
Act 168 Sexual Misconduct Disclosure Forms (when applicable).
Act 24 Arrest/Conviction Report and Certification.
Current TB test (within the past 3 months, per school district requirements).
Act 126 Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting Training (or willingness to complete through employer training).
Current CPR and First Aid Certification (must include an in-person skills component for Infant, Child, and Adult CPR).

All required clearances must be current and completed within the past 12 months #
INDBEH Pay:
$23.12 - $24.55 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
