Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in delivering developmentally appropriate activities aligned with the Early Childhood Education standards and the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). Support classroom management by supervising children during activities, transitions, meals, and outdoor play to ensure safety and positive behavior. Facilitate literacy and math instruction through engaging activities that promote early reading, writing, numeracy skills, and childhood development milestones. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that complies with educational regulations and promotes learning. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, behavior, and developmental needs to foster strong home-school connections. Use educational technologies and computers to enhance learning experiences for young children. Collaborate with teaching staff to develop individualized support plans for children with disabilities or special needs, including those with autism or other developmental challenges. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in early childhood settings or classroom environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of special education practices, behavior management techniques, and classroom behavior management strategies. Familiarity with childhood development principles, literacy education, math concepts, and educational compliance standards such as ESSA. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Ability to supervise children safely while demonstrating patience and nurturing care. Certification in First Aid and CPR is required or obtainable upon hire. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or autism enhances your candidacy; private school or Montessori experience is a plus. Pay:
