Job Description

About Us Substitute Teacher Service (STS) partners with school districts to staff a wide variety of educational and school-support positions, including both permanent and substitute paraprofessionals, PCAs, classroom aides, and more. We are currently seeking entry-level and experienced candidates to support students throughout the Eastern Lancaster County School District. Current Opportunities Elementary School

  • 7:20 AM-2:35 PM Work-Based Learning/Learning Support Paraprofessional

25/hour Choose the days you are available to work. The pay rate for permanent positions may increase based on relevant education and/or experience. What Do School Support Staff Do? Responsibilities vary depending on the assignment but may include: Supporting students academically, socially, behaviorally, and/or with daily living needs Working individually with a student or assisting multiple students within a classroom Helping teachers implement classroom activities and student support plans Encouraging student independence and positive participation Providing supervision and maintaining a safe, supportive learning environment Assisting students with disabilities according to their individual needs Collaborating with teachers, special education staff, therapists, and other school personnel Specific duties and expectations will be discussed based on the position you're interested in.
