Qualifications/Desired Experience:

Experience working as a Paraprofessional, Behavior Specialist, Behavioral Health Assistant, or similar role in a school or behavioral health setting Understanding of emotional and behavioral support strategies for adolescents Familiarity with developing and implementing individualized support plans Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive relationships with students and staff Ability to remain patient, flexible, and proactive in a dynamic educational environment Open to feedback and committed to ongoing professional growth

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in delivering emotional and behavioral support services to students in 7th9th grade Work collaboratively with special education and support teams to implement personalized strategies Support classroom instruction and promote a safe, inclusive learning space Provide direct, hands-on support during academic and non-academic activities Help monitor student progress and communicate relevant information to educators and program supervisors Contribute to creating a positive, encouraging atmosphere for all students
