Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children in the preschool and toddler age range.
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
• Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging educational experiences.
• Utilize effective behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior and create a supportive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with parents and other staff members to ensure the individual needs of each child are met.
• Maintain accurate records of children's progress and communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development.
• Create a stimulating and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting.
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with literacy education strategies and techniques.
• Experience working with children with special needs, including those on the autism spectrum.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to effectively manage a classroom and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children.
