Overview Special Education Teacher Assistant Hollywood, SC | Full-Time - 37.5 hours/week W-2 | $25-$30/hr | Great benefits! HealthPRO Pediatrics is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher Assistant to support students with diverse learning and behavioral needs in a school-based setting. This role works under the direction of a certified special education teacher to assist with instructional delivery, classroom management, and implementation of individualized student supports. Responsibilities Provide direct support to students in both small group and one-on-one settings Assist with implementation of IEP goals and accommodations Support classroom instruction and daily activities Help manage student behavior using established intervention strategies Collect and record student data as directed by the teacher or BCBA Assist with transitions, routines, and reinforcement strategies Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff Maintain a safe, supportive, and structured learning environment Qualifications High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred Previous experience working with children, preferably in a special education setting Experience supporting students with autism, ADHD, or other developmental needs preferred Ability to follow directions and implement behavior and instructional plans Strong communication and teamwork skills HealthPRO Heritage and its subsidiaries provide equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
