This contract opportunity begins as soon as possible and runs through May 2027, offering you the chance to work closely with middle school and adult transition program students. In this role, youll be an essential part of the classroom environment, ensuring students receive the guidance and communication support they need to succeed. With a consistent schedule of 35 hours a week, Monday through Friday, youll have the chance to build strong relationships while further developing your professional skills.

Qualifications:

Background in paraprofessional support within school environments Proficiency in basic sign language, suitable for communication with students and staff Current credentials or certifications required for paraprofessional positions Experience working with middle school or young adult populations is a plus Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

Assist teachers in classroom management and instructional support Facilitate communication using sign language for students who require it Champion a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages student participation Provide guidance during both academic and transition activities Adapt instructional materials and strategies based on student needs This position offers pay rates ranging from $19 to $22 per hour, as well as a generous benefits package.
