Position:
Aide, SPED FOCUS Secondary (Life Skills)
Location:
Lomax Junior High Assist the teacher(s) in the preparation and management of classroom activities and administrative requirements. Assist in the implementation of classroom programs, including the FOCUS Program, self-help, behavior management and instruction. Work under the general supervision of the supervisor and the immediate direction of a certified teacher. Job Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Valid SBEC Educational Aide certificate Associate's Degree or 48 or more college hours or NCLB ParaEducator Certification issued by San Jacinto College or other local educational entity

Prolonged standing; frequent kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting
