Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support classroom instruction and early childcare development. This role is vital in fostering a positive learning environment and ensuring that children receive the personalized attention they need to succeed. Prior experience in early childcare development would be highly valued. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate closely with teachers, engage with young children, and contribute to the growth of young learners. This position would be 40 hours a week. We are an early childcare development center devoted to sharing the love of Christ to the children in our care. We teach infants to Pre-k. We are urgently seeking someone to fill the role of a full time teachers assistant.

Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans across various subjects. Support classroom management by maintaining a positive environment and enforcing behavior expectations aligned with school policies. Supervise children during classroom activities, recess, lunch, and other transitions to ensure safety and engagement. Collaborate with teachers on curriculum implementation, assessment strategies, and classroom organization as needed. Assist in maintaining educational compliance and Texas minimum standards. Support early childhood development initiatives through mentoring and fostering social skills. Administer basic first aid and CPR when necessary, ensuring student safety at all times. Proofread instructional materials for accuracy and clarity as needed. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in classroom settings or early childhood education preferred. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, parents, and students. Familiarity with educational technologies such as Procare, otherwise we will train you. Ability to supervise children safely while engaging them in meaningful activities. Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred but not required; willingness to obtain certification is a plus. You also must be able to pass a background check. Demonstrated patience, mentoring ability, and a genuine passion for supporting student growth across developmental stages.
