Job Description

Summary:

The Instructional Assistant will provide support to teachers and students at Locust Grove Middle. This is a full-time position that requires a dedicated individual who is passionate about education and enjoys working with children.

Responsibilities:

Assist teachers in preparing instructional materials and classroom activities. Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts. Monitor student behavior and provide guidance and support as needed. Assist in the implementation of behavior management plans. Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and behavior. Assist with classroom management and organization. Assist with administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. Experience working with children in an educational setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Must pass a background check.
