Job Summary Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Assistant Teacher in our preschool program! In this dynamic role, you will work closely with lead teachers to create a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum activities that promote literacy, math skills, social-emotional development, and creativity. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and implementing behavior management strategies aligned with educational regulations. Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and rest periods to ensure safety and proper child supervision. Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that complies with educational standards and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, behaviors, and needs to foster strong home-school connections. Use educational technologies and computers to enhance learning experiences for children. Collaborate with fellow teachers to develop lesson plans, share best practices, and support a cohesive teaching team dedicated to early childhood development. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in a classroom or childcare setting is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education practices, and classroom behavior management techniques. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Ability to follow educational compliance standards and understand regulations related to childcare programs. Certification in first aid and CPR is required or willing to obtain upon hire. Familiarity with literacy education, math instruction for young children, and behavior management techniques. Demonstrated ability to mentor children positively while maintaining a safe environment that promotes learning through play. Pay:
