Duties Support lead teachers by assisting with daily classroom routines, activities, and lesson implementation tailored to developmental stages Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring safety and positive behavior management Assist with diapering, feeding, and personal care needs for infants and toddlers in accordance with health and safety standards Help prepare classroom materials, organize learning centers, and maintain a clean, organized environment Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, needs, and daily experiences Follow mandated reporting laws to report any concerns related to child safety or well-being promptly Adapt to different classrooms as needed, providing flexible support across age groups from infants to preschoolers Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or childcare settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training encouraged Familiarity with special education strategies and working with children with disabilities is a plus Strong classroom management skills with the ability to supervise children effectively Excellent communication skills for parent interactions and team collaboration Ability to follow safety protocols diligently and adhere to mandated reporting laws Passion for nurturing young children's growth through engaging activities and positive reinforcement This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to support early childhood development while building valuable teaching experience.
