Assistant Teacher - Upper Elementary Academy of the Winds | Lander, Wyoming Academy of the Winds is seeking a calm, experienced, and joyful Assistant Teacher to support our Upper Elementary classroom, with some teaching responsibilities across grade levels. What You'll Do Support the Upper Elementary lead teacher across daily instruction, classroom management, and individualized student support Take on some direct teaching responsibilities across grade levels Help maintain a calm, orderly, joyful classroom culture Build genuine, dependable relationships with students and families What We're Looking For Minimum Associate's degree Prior experience as an assistant teacher or teacher A calm, dependable, creative presence Genuine love for kids and high expectations for their growth and behavior Flexibility and willingness to support across grade levels to help with teacher planning times Must pass a background check Willing to drive a 15-passenger van for field trips- clean driving record Current CPR certification, or willingness to obtain one Compensation & Benefits Starting pay: $30,000 Monthly medical stipend Free tuition for staff children No additional benefits package at this time To Apply Please submit the following: Resume Cover letter 3 professional references
