Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in our care. You will engage with infants, toddlers and preschool-aged children, fostering their development through play, education, and positive interaction. The ideal candidate will have experience in childcare settings and a strong understanding of childhood development principles. Duties Provide attentive care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration. Facilitate daily activities that encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development. Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive team atmosphere. Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents as needed. Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual needs. Qualifications Experience in toddler care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred. Strong understanding of childhood development principles and caregiving practices. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to various learning styles. Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and staff. Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children. Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Certification in CPR and First Aid is desirable but not mandatory upon hiring.
