Job Description

Make a real difference in students' success! Firefly Tutors, established since 2004, is seeking passionate individuals for a fun, flexible, and rewarding part-time tutoring role. IN-HOME / IN-PERSON, Experienced Tutors ONLY Elementary math and English tutor needed in Corcoran CA, 93212 and surrounding areas (IN

HOME ONLY

), MUST

BE AVAILABLE

to tutor some school hours throughout the week, start immediately, and continue tutoring through the 26/27 school year Ideal tutor candidate must have/be: Bachelor's degree or above FUN, skilled, creative, compassionate, intuitive, encouraging tutor Versed in K - 6 curriculum instruction for math and English language arts 1-2 years of experience working with students Experience with dyslexia Responsibilities Provide individual tutoring in third grade English language arts and math to enhance student understanding and performance Identify how students learn best Implement creative, engaging lessons tailored to students' needs Utilize learning technology to facilitate effective teaching and learning experiences Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth
