TITLE I TUTOR
Elementary Teacher
Winchendon Public Schools
Winchendon Public Schools is seeking a dedicated Elementary Title I Tutor to provide targeted academic intervention for students who need additional support in reading. Ideal candidates are organized, flexible, and effective communicators who are committed to helping all students reach grade-level proficiency. This is a temporary, per diem position funded through Title I.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
(not limited to):
Collaborate with regular education teachers, support staff, administrators, aides and parents in order to monitor student progress and compliance.
Make data-driven instructional decisions to improve student outcomes.
Collect and report progress monitoring data for all student goals.
Complete and dispense information regarding student progress at least as often as students in the general education setting.
Provide individual, small group, co-teaching resource support and specialized instruction based on student's needs
