Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university Valid State of Michigan Teaching Certificate, Elementary Teaching Experience or Retired Elementary Teacher preferred Knowledge of elementary ELA and Math state standards and aligned instruction for foundational reading, writing, and math skills Knowledge of structured literacy instruction aligned with the Science of Reading, experience with HMH Into Reading, and familiarity with Bridges Math intervention are preferred. Exhibit patience and willingness to work with children Exhibit emotional stability and physical stamina necessary for meeting the requirements of the position Clear criminal and professional background check

Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one and/or small group targeted skill instruction in ELA and Math Work effectively under the immediate direction of the AES Literacy & Math Coaches Maintain the confidentiality of information regarding all students Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned Maintain program materials Complete required documentation, assessments, and program evaluation Strategically plan lessons in collaboration with intervention staff, teachers, and coaches using assessment data to meet the individual needs of students

Salary:

$21.00 per hour
