Qualifications and Licensure
Knowledge of current teaching standards and research-based teaching strategies Evidence of teacher effectiveness (assessment data or EVAAS teacher effectiveness data)
Active North Carolina Teaching License Essential Job Functions:
Utilizes student data and observations of student work to determine student needs Plans daily intervention lessons that are based on student need and the NC Standard Course of Study. Facilitates engaging small group instruction for students Maintains open communication with the student's regular classroom teacher and their parent/guardian to ensure student needs are being met Maintains records of student progress and attendance Uses effective classroom management strategies to create a safe, positive learning environment
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
