Job Description

Southampton Union Free School District is seeking a qualified Home Tutor to provide instruction to a Grade 4 student on intermittent medical leave during the 2026-2027 school year. The Home Tutor will provide home instruction to a Grade 4 student during absences related to intermittent medical leave. Responsibilities Provide up to 2 hours of instruction per school day missed , not to exceed 10 hours per week. Coordinate scheduling of instructional sessions with building administration and the student's parents. Maintain flexibility in scheduling due to the intermittent nature of the student's absences. Provide appropriate elementary-level instruction during periods of absence. Requirements Valid New York State Elementary Teacher Certification.
