Posting Information Requisition 202600339ST Title Student Employee-Academic Success Center- Writing Tutor (Fall 2026) Employee Class Student Employee College Work Study Position No Department Academic Success Center Division Division of Academic Affairs Hours per week Hiring Rate $10 per hour Preferred Student Classification Nature & Purpose of Position Applicants will work as undergraduate peer tutors at the Writing and Humanities division of the Academic Success Center and can expect to work with SHSU students from any level or discipline on student writing. Applicants will have the opportunity to tutor more advanced topics, including but not limited to: Speech, Online, Groups, Workshops, and Presentations.
