IMPORTANT

information: This position is not a seasonal (summer-only) position. We do not consider candidates who are only available only for a short-term as this is a year-round position. Primary center hours are afternoons / evenings (3pm - 8pm) and weekends (Sat, 10am - 2pm). Instructors are expected ot be available 2-3 days per week. Instructors are required to demonstrate math competency through at least Algebra 1 on a proficiency exam. Instructors that can provide instruction at the Calculus / Statistics level are highly valued. Why Work with

Qualifications:

Passion for math and working with students Excellent interpersonal skills Eagerness to learn and be trained Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I Ability to balance various ongoing tasks

Job Responsibilities:

Teach/tutor in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting Assess students' learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment
