Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Timekeeper to join our human resources team. In this vital role, you will manage accurate timekeeping, attendance tracking, and payroll data, ensuring seamless operations across our organization. Your expertise will support compliance with employment laws and contribute to a positive employee experience.
Duties Daily Tracking:
Monitor and record daily attendance and labor hours for all manufacturing staff.
Data Logging:
Accurately enter time data into our programs to ensure labor is allocated to the correct manufacturing projects.
Proactive Follow-up:
Identify missing punches, unallocated hours, or discrepancies and coordinate directly with floor supervisors and employees to resolve them daily.
Reporting:
Generate weekly labor reports for management to help track production efficiency and overtime trends.
Compliance:
Ensure all timekeeping records adhere to company policies and labor regulations.
Audit Support:
Maintain organized digital and physical files for internal audits and payroll verification.
Requirements Experience:
1-3 years of experience in data entry, payroll support, or administrative roles, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Communication:
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to "firmly but politely" follow up with staff across all levels of the organization.
Detail-Oriented:
A high degree of accuracy is non-negotiable; you enjoy catching the small errors before they become big problems.
Organizational Skills:
Ability to manage high volumes of data for 250+ employees without losing track of individual discrepancies. Prior experience in human resources, employee onboarding, or recruiting is a plus. $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
