Dallas, TX Job Details Part-time $16 - $30 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Decision making Full Job Description The YMCA is currently taking application for energetic, confident, and friendly staff to work in the sports department as Sports Officials. The Sports Official is responsible and willing to uphold the Sports Official Code of Conduct and enforce the rules of play. He/She is the sole representative at many of the YMCA games, and is to take & maintain control of the games at all times. The candidate is responsible for calling the game as fairly as possible and will make calls on a deemed needed basis. These decisions should be made quickly and with the best of his/her ability. The officiating skill level will be determined by the YMCA sports staff but a general working knowledge of the sport to be officiated is required of all officials. Days & Hours Weeknights & Saturdays The schedule varies depending on the number of leagues and teams.
