Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Master Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and supporting the academic and social development of students. This role requires an individual who is skilled in lesson planning, early intervention strategies, and has experience working with children in various educational settings. Duties Will be responsible for meeting the Staff Member Handbook, Policies and Procedures as well as Oklahoma Human Services Licensing Requirements for Child Care Programs. Support other personnel in meeting teacher and assistant teacher responsibilities. Direct care of children. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles. Assess student progress through standardized testing and other evaluation methods to identify areas for improvement. Provide early intervention strategies to support students who may be struggling academically or socially. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a collaborative educational environment. Maintain a safe and nurturing classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and growth. Document student progress and maintain accurate records of assessments and observations. Providing input on program development and evaluation. Requirements Must be able to pass state and company background checks. At least 21 years of age. Must be a Level 4 or higher on the Oklahoma Professional Development Ladder. Experience working with children in an educational setting is essential. Strong skills in lesson planning, standardized testing, and early intervention practices. Must be able to lift 40lbs frequently throughout the day (children and supplies) Must be able to sit on the floor and interact with children Ability to work on your feet for long periods of time Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to provide infant, toddler, pre-school, and school-age care when necessary, ensuring the well-being of younger students.
