Faculty Associate - Anatomy Education Texas Tech Univ Health Sciences Ctr - 3.7 Lubbock, TX Job Details 3 hours ago Qualifications Anatomy knowledge Full Job Description The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) School of Medicine in Lubbock, Texas, is seeking a Faculty Associate with expertise and experience in human anatomy to join the Department of Medical Education (DOME). The successful candidate will be actively working toward completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in anatomical sciences or a closely related discipline, with the expectation that the terminal degree will be completed within one year of the initial hire date. The Faculty Associate will contribute to the educational, scholarly, and service missions of the Department of Medical Education and School of Medicine. Responsibilities will include teaching, assessment, participation in course and block activities, educational scholarship, and academic service. The individual will participate in Anatomy, Histology, and Embryology (AHE) and other organ-system blocks, as needed and aligned with departmental expertise. The Faculty Associate will also serve as a small-group facilitator in the Patients, Physicians, and Populations (P3) curriculum and participate in School of Medicine and departmental committees and activities as appropriate.
